We’ve had some sleep, the presents are wrapped, the master’s semester is finished - time to reflect on the last few weeks and how grateful I am! First, we held a Driver Appreciation Breakfast for our AES drivers. I couldn’t be more proud of our bus leaders!

So thankful for our amazing Mrs. Farner and specials team who put together a wonderful holiday show with many of our 3rd-5th graders, including my Reese❤️

Party day with my favorite people! We even had a guest game host, Dr. Jeremy Glenn, to lead the “Reindeer or Snowman” version of Heads or Tails 🤣 the kids LOVED it! #ActonFam

Party day also happened to be my youngest’s 9th birthday! Who else gets an entire school to have a party on their birthday?! 😂😍

Finally, the reason for the season! “‘Twas the Night Before Christ’s Birth” with the kids Granbury Baptist was the perfect reminder of why we have this season of celebration! 💚🌟❤️🌟💛

Before the break, Amable put together blessing bags for the Under the Bridge project in Fort Worth. Watching kids pour love and gratitude for people they don’t know into these bags will renew your faith in our future! Teaching kids to serve others is my favorite! #heyheyamable 🐬

I have missed having @MTSSpayne in our hallway daily!! It was SO GOOD to have you next door! Love you ❤️

Leadership on the Move got to treat our bus drivers this morning with coffee and donuts and this afternoon with sodas and treats! We loved showing our Granbury ISD bus drivers how much we appreciate them! #ActonFam

I get to learn from these ladies, work beside these ladies, and BEST OF ALL call them my close friends!! They are all 3 so deserving of this recognition 💜LOVE YOU 3💜

Teaching about character traits, I used weather vs. climate to show the differences between character feelings vs. traits. This student dropped some serious science knowledge to the class… He now gets to carry around my trophy for the rest of the day!! 🤓🤍
