This keynote from Graeme Armstrong was incredible. In a room full of Headteachers, you could hear a pin drop and feel the impact his words had. Resounding messages about the difference a key person can make in a young person’s life. Inspiring work.

A thought provoking staff development day. We learned more about The Promise Scotland and were reminded of the importance of relationships and nurturing principles in schools. Falkirk Champs should be proud of the tireless work they do to educate us all!

Our senior Changemakers went shopping with Mrs Brown! A sneak preview of the Raffle Prizes for their new Dining Hall initiative were displayed. Tickets given for those who go above and beyond in the lunch hall. First draw on Friday! Who will it be and what will they choose?

The very first Great Deanburn Dance-off! Every class will compete to take home the Deanburn Danceoff trophy on Friday! Our young dance leaders will work with each class to create a short Christmas routine to perform the school. A panel of judges, scorecards and lots of fun!

End of 2024, a great time to evaluate our school improvement priorities. We thought about the progress we have made this year towards developing our inclusive practices and positive relationships across Deanburn. We are all committed to developing this further in 2025.

Bo’ness Fair 2025 Deanburn presents ‘A Night at the Grammys’ We are so excited!

We are looking for a passionate and committed senior practitioner for one of our fabby nursery classes Deanburn ELC Class

We are aiming to develop understanding of inclusion throughout our whole school communities.  Jonathan, our All Minds counsellor, will be running a parents information session about supporting and understanding your child's emotions.  Monday the 3rd of March at 6pm.
