In last night’s game with Vermilion , Junior Guard Alex Arra set a new school record for assists in a game with 11.Alex has also set a new season record for assists with 113 and counting breaking the single season record set by Avery Young which was 100 set in 2022-23.

With tonight’s victory, the Cardinals have set a new school record for wins in a season with 17.

The Brookside Cardinals will play the Canfield Cardinals on Saturday afternoon 3/7 at North Ridgeville High School for the Division IV District Championship. Game time is 3:30. This is Brookside’s first District Championship game since 1990.

This Friday is the Troy DiFranco All-Star Night presented by the LCBBCA. Events start at 5:30 at Elyria HS. Cardinals competing will be Mason Waechter in the 3-point contest and Rising Stars Games. Alex Arra and Zeke Lind will also be in the Rising Stars Games.
