Charter schools did not boost student achievement, and vouchers won’t, either. But they can still destroy traditional public schools. arktimes.com/arkansas-blog/…

News of #Arkansas's nonsensical policy of letting homeschool parents pay for horseback riding lessons with taxpayer dollars has crossed over into #Tennessee. Let's hope our folly keeps our neighbors from following suit. #arpx

Arkansans should be extremely concerned about the 470 million, 3,000 bed prison estimate. There is no way this is realistic. Also the citizens who will be the most impacted shouldn’t be the last to know. 5newsonline.com/article/news/l…

Translation: The land was for sale and cheap. Who cares it’s not very accessible or the local community can’t support a workforce large enough to manage a new prison. It seems like a few benchmarks are missing for much a large project.

1/4 Pro-voucher advocates want you to believe public school supporters love the status quo. Nothing could be further from the truth. We believe in strong, innovative public schools, free from the costly state mandates that burden districts and taxpayers. #SupportPublicSchools

A tremendous amount of “research” would have produced cost estimates on how, where to get water, sewer, electricity ,roads into a place way out in the country on a mountain of rock. This is the equivalent to building a 3,800 pop city from scratch.Don’t be fooled folks.More to come

It’s way past time to end the back door deals , special interests, and lobbyists having secret conversations with the drawing of legislative districts.
