Today my chapter at Belmont Academy ended. Although I will be keeping an eye on my Media classes until that pesky SQA exam. It’s been an incredible 6 and a half years. Today was bittersweet but I appreciated every handshake, hug and fist bump. So much kindness. ❤️

The Higher class were using whole class feedback to complete a yellow box marking task this morning - identifying their weakest critical essay paragraph and acting on the feedback to improve it. Written on flashcards for ease of submission and feedback. Some great progress made!

Higher tried a “3-2-1 Bridge” thinking routine this afternoon to provide richer discussions on their critical essay skills and targets for the exam.

I am at La Cinematheque in Paris. This is the original skull from the Mrs Bates skeleton that was donated by Hitchcock in 1961. There are many former Higher pupils who know how excited I was to see this wummin’s heid.
