I had fun, I just turned strange colors.

At grocery store today, ungloved hand reaches across my face 6 inches away for last bag of rice. I glare at owner who wants to know “what the hell” my problem is. I say “six feet.” She sez “Do I look like I’m sick?” I tell her it doesn’t matter. She tells me to go F*** myself.

I don’t know what unnerved me more, her attitude toward another human being, or her ignorance of every warning for the past month about contagion risk.
