Our Heart of the Quilt students had the chance to ZOOM with Shannon Hitchcock, whose books inspired their play! They explored Appalachian culture, environmentalism, and the journey to become an author/illustrator. Such an inspiring way to bring their play to life! #eaglepride

Our fifth graders had a special opportunity to enjoy lunch with engineering students from UTK! These ambassadors led a hands-on activity that introduced students to engineering and STEM careers. The highlight was designing and testing their own paper helicopters! #eaglepride

Our ESL students took on the challenge of expanding their world by interviewing various professionals, including a nurse, bus driver, and banker. Students created their own questions, conducted the interviews, and showed great curiosity throughout the process. #eaglepride

Today we celebrate National Custodian Day! We want to give a huge shoutout to Mr. Glenn, Mr. Pete, and Mr. Jose for everything they do to keep The Ridge safe, clean, and welcoming. Their hard work and dedication make a difference every single day. Thank you! #eaglepride
