This afternoon, we paid a courtesy call on one of our long-standing partners, the Anti-Corruption Commission Zambia, officially introducing our new Chapter President Mrs. Priscilla Chikonde Chansa and our Chapter Vice President Professor. Chilufya.

Receiving us from the commission were the Director General, the Deputy Director General and the Commission Secretary. TI-Z and ACC will continue to work together in fighting corruption in Zambia and ensuring justice prevails and good governance is upheld.

This morning, the Anti-Corruption Commission Zambia, Acting Director General Mrs. Monica Chipanta Mwansa, received a delegation from the Anti-Corruption Bureau Malawi. The delegation is on a two-day study tour to benchmark best practices and standards from the Anti- Corruption Commission Zambia.

On the 2nd Day of the #2024IACC, the Anti-Corruption Commission Zambia - Deputy Director General Mrs. Monica C Mwansa spoke on a panel reviewing the film “THE GRAB". This global thriller combined hard-hitting journalism from @CIRonline/Reveal with compelling character-driven storytelling.

Part of the film focused on Zambia, among other countries, and how governments and massive business interests were readying themselves by grabbing the last remaining farmland and freshwater supplies of remote locals and rural farmers.

Asset Recovery at Work! Anti-Corruption Commission Zambia Acting DG Mrs. Monica Chipanta Mwansa visited the 1,227-hectare Simoonga Farm, forfeited to the State after ex-Defence PS, acquired the $2.5M farm in 2019 using suspected proceeds of crime linked to a $47M contract.
