One of the best things about making a new podcast is getting to do it with Sarah McVeigh, Clara Ames (nee Sankey) and Zoltan Fecso: a dream team and a treat.

Well #deadloch stuck the landing. Action comedies often sacrifice one for the other & don’t do justice to character or plot, but Deadloch was superb. If there’s any justice Kate McCartney & Kate McLennan will be invited to TedX: Perth as leaders in their field. More please.

If you’re not already subscribed and listening to #ReadThis every week, it’s time to start. There have been five episodes so far, and the fifth is with colson whitehead. He’s very good! podcasts.apple.com/au/podcast/rea…

Krasno-stans unite! Listen to the incomparable Sarah Krasnostein talk Peter Carey on the latest #ReadThis wherever you get your podcasts.

The latest issue of The Monthly out now, with Joelle Gergis in blistering form. Thanks Rebecca Solnit for the shoutout.

Apparently, according to a random notification on my phone, it’s International Podcast Day. Have you considered #ReadThis? Books, writers, chat: it’s a sensation! New eps each Thurs, with ep13 (George Saunders) out tomorrow. Do listen: we’re proud of it. podcasts.apple.com/au/podcast/rea…

Very proud of my colleagues at 7am this week, after the brilliant week of episodes on tomorrow’s referendum. Particular shout outs to 𝐃𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐞𝐥 𝐉𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐬 and Scott Mitchell for their impressive and tireless work. If you don’t know, just listen. 7ampodcast.com.au

So proud of Anna K Verney and Richard Cooke for their second Walkley win for their major work on the strange case of John Hughes. So well deserved.
