I tried a video where I'm writing code and configuring text files and wow it's so much harder to do that hardware. Half the time I feel like I'm just quietly waiting. But I think it'll look interesting in timelapse.

I finally got a Pi booting cleanly into a framebuffer-direct gstreamer setup which looks pretty slick while it boots. I even managed to write some Rust code to manage the gstreamer streams. The camera display is almost done! youtube.com/watch?v=UDPTQ9…

For kicks I rejected the terms of service on my LG tv post update and it warned me with scary language that nothing was going to work after it rebooted. Turned out that it was just fine? I guess it had a tantrum over being unable to legally spy on us.
