The Namibia Agricultural Labour Forum met with ED Audrin Mathe to discuss the rollout of the National Minimum Wage for the Agriculture Sector. The wage is set at N$10 per hour, rising to N$14 in 2026 and N$18 in 2027 to support better livelihoods.

Gendev Fishing Company employees submitted a petition to the Ministry today over alleged unfair labour practices. DED Aune Mudjanima assured them the Ministry will investigate matters and take informed action. The Namibia Seaman and Allied Workers Union led the demonstration.
