Really pleased with the math's learning journey visual I created for OA-Nene Valley 's curriculum. Learner's take a pathway on our super spiral curriculum. Rebecca Mead' s great idea of using ski slope colours. #thisisap #edutwitter #maths

Feel very privileged to be able to go on today's Outdoor Education trip. Such an amazing way to build relationships with learners. I got pushed in so many times 😂 What an incredible curriculum offer!! #thisisap

Just had an amazing training session to discuss my 6 week trial of Learning by Questions in the classroom. Having used this software in the past, I have really high hopes of this with disengaged students. I'm excited to implement it next week! #maths #edutwitter

This is a BIG difference to ‘golden time’ that as linked to school behaviour. It isn’t linked to that. A child today in ‘our time’ told me they have felt sad as don’t understand rounding still. It is a time to talk, reflect and allow creativity. And for me to know my class.

Not work related but I loved painting this mug this morning. I paint Starry Night with the kids so much each year so it was fun to paint it on a different surface. There's exploding paint on the bottom too so I can't wait to see it out of the kiln. #art #pottery #wellbeing

Wow Senco course day 1 has blown my mind. 🤯 The role is absolutely massive and there is so much to do before day 2! Colleague number 2 of the day has the right idea now. 😴 #senco #edutwitter

Let’s change the narrative. After working in 4 PRUs, in 4 different LA’s, I have many thoughts on why this headline and report is not helpful. I’ve worked in 2 PRUs as a senior leader. One as a headteacher. Here is what I’ve learned: PRUsAP #thisisap 1.

I'm a non-specialist maths/science teacher. I've often been praised for how I explain things to the kids so they 'get it'. This is something I always say...sometimes there are benefits to not knowing everything about a subject. - How I wish I'd taught Maths by Craig Barton
