🧩 P7 ROTARY CLUB CHALLENGE 👟 Our P7’s had lots of fun today at Grangemouth Stadium 🤩 We enjoyed a range of challenges 🏉 🧩 ⚽️ where we worked in teams alongside Moray PS & Bowhouse PS 👍🏻 Afterwards, we enjoyed lunch at the park 🥪 and some free time! 🥳 Beancross Primary

We have been recapping angles recently and decided to take our protractors outside to see what angles we could find in the playground 📐☀️

Our focus country for our Red Illustrated project is Brazil! Today we researched some of the tribes in the Amazon rainforest then learned all about Carnival and designed our own Brazilian Carnival masks 🌳🎭

We chose a place we had enjoyed visiting and used our iPads to remind ourselves what it looked like. We used our memories and findings to draw a postcard from this place 😍

We are going to be reading the novel Judy Moody 📖 Using the clues from the front cover and the blurb, we predicted what we thought the book would be about 🤔 #bpsliteracy

This week during circle time we developed our talking and listening skills by playing “Fruit Basket” and taking turns sharing what we are looking forward to in Primary 5 📚

We used our problem solving and team work skills to create a chosen landmark using Playdoh and spaghetti. We had some excellent models of landmarks such as the Great Pyramid and Big Ben! 🇬🇧

Today P5E and P5MR came together to share ideas of how we can make our🌟Golden Time🌟more GOLDEN. 🤔💬We came up with lots of ideas. These ideas will help our teachers plan for Golden Time that we look forward 😀to each week. Miss Morrison Mrs Rowan P4SR

Today we explored lines of symmetry by tracing and folding different shapes. We then consolidated our learning by defeating aliens using symmetrical shapes on our iPads 👾🔺🔷

Last week Miss Morrison worked with P5E on our BPSRights Outright Challenge 2. We discussed Climate Change and how it affects our rights. We then took part in a fun quiz in groups.

In maths we have been learning about patterns and sequences. Today we used items around the classroom to create our own patterns! I was so impressed with everyone’s hard work and creativity 🤩✏️

I have loved teaching My Body with P2’s at Beancross PS the past two weeks 🧠🫁🫀🩻

We have enjoyed exploring different plenaries to consolidate our learning through the use of Playdoh and drawing 🫀🩻🧠🫁✍️

Primary 2 have enjoyed taking on the role of scientists today exploring what happens to food when it goes to our stomach. We look forward to exploring the intestines tomorrow and the lungs on Thursday too. 🧪🧠🫀🫁🩻
