The Monday struggle was real yesterday so we took some time out for reading for pleasure. These two took our comfortable reading to a new level 📖 I love seeing the whole class get more and more excited with reading this year 📖

Our new editing stations were a huge success in teaching the Year 2s how to self edit their creative writing work 🤩

We had so much fun making catapults in Year 2 to help us explore the history of siege weapons, wood as a material and elasticity as a property 🧪 Pzaz science has helped us bring so much excitement back to science this term and we’ve LOVED it #edutwitter

I recently saw a tweet from Mr Houghton HOS with a great initiative for a hit of daily handwriting… we’ve been trying it in my class of year 2s ✍️ I can see a progress in their written work already plus they love it as a calm transition into English lessons 😍 thank for sharing

12 weeks + 3 days left of the school year 🫣 (not that I’m counting 😂) Controversial POV but it’s going too quickly 😢 I’ve got the best class and parents this year. Totally love them and will genuinely miss them so much 💔 Going to enjoy every moment with them whilst I can✨

These shorter work days are great ✨ everyone is happier, children are more productive as they’re not tired, staff are happier as they have some work/life balance each day, reduced meetings… and school is still standing 🤩
