A Gale Warning is in effect for much of Lake Huron this afternoon and evening. A Low Water Advisory is also in effect for western Lake Erie through this evening. #miwx

Widespread snow will continue this morning, transitioning to lake effect snow later today and tonight. Increasing winds today will lead to blowing snow across exposed areas of northern Michigan, resulting in localized hazardous travel at times.

Lake effect snow showers persist across the north-wind snow belts areas today. Snowfall rates may be heavy at times this morning, so Winter Weather Advisories continue downwind of Superior until the afternoon. #906wx #miwx

Hazardous road conditions this morning with slick roads and poor visibility. Additional inch or two of snow for most with conditions improving this AM. Lake effect will keep snow ongoing at the lakeshore all day with several more inches likely. Take it slow if you must be out.
