In 2010, at age 40 and in excellent health, I agreed to the mesh bladder sling surgery. I wanted to be able to run and play with our 4 kids without wetting my pants. Zero warning that mesh could leave me in permanent, severe vaginal pain - and no sitting, and no sex ever again
