Had a great visit with #meiosis labs Max Perutz Labs Vienna at Univ. Vienna (Joao Matos, Peter Schlögelhofer The Schlögelhofer Lab, Verena Jantsch, Franz Klein) and others. Then a gorgeous train trip to Zürich for an awesome visit to ETH Zurich Inst of Biochemistry thanks to Madhav Jagannathan.

Wonderful UNC_Biology graduation ceremony yesterday. Students that received awards were asked to name their science hero. We had Darwin, McClintock, Sekelsky, Newton…what? How did Newton get on that list???
