Back in the pool after 5 weeks off post swimming 44 miles for Diabetes UK. Absolutely brutal, managed 2km but it was like swimming through treacle!!

Rough week for my little lad Barns. Vet hospital at 1am Tuesday morning until yesterday. Think he’s happy to be home and playing his Dad like a bloody fiddle. I’ll never be wealthy but I can’t tell you how happy I am he’s ok!!

This was extraordinary viewing from the boat today. Two firefighting planes taking water from the sea before dropping it on the fire. Absolute daredevils and legends.

Lovely trek this morning to a 16th century Monastry on the island of Brac. The canyon was like something from a Western. Monastry was passed from father to son until the last monk passed away in 1963!

Well sailing to be fair was mint. Seen some stunning stuff. Yesterday was an abandoned village and navy installation. Swam into it from the boat and walked around it….never seen anything like it. Very eerie at the back. The island of Brac is full of surprises. Missed my dogs.
