In response to reports across the media, we can confirm that the MCUI Medical Team this morning dealt with a serious incident involving our own team member, paramedic Allister MacSorley. Understandably this was a most difficult situation and we are hugely grateful for (1/3)

...the support of many people; the race marshals and first-aid team from @STJA_NI, our colleagues from @AirAmbulanceNI and nias and of course the medical and nursing staff in Belfast Trust. Our first thoughts were naturally for Allister, Fred, Alex and the family, and (2/3)
