🧵New article today on how transparently tech. ed. researchers report their methods. In summary, generally well, but could be clearer in terms of reliability, participant incentives, data cleaning, and testing statistical assumptions! 1/3. Best of luck to the 8 Irish delegates, 7 of whom are Technological University of the Shannon PhD Polymer Engineering students, representing Ireland at the 38th International Polymer Processing Society conference, currently taking place in Switzerland.
When it’s your birthday, but you just had a daughter during your #phdlife Kudos to Muhammad Azeem, B.Eng, M.Eng, Ph.D for the lovely gift 😊
Just out in ACS Sustainable Journals In our sustainable approach we used natural #nanoclay and waste-recovered #cellulose to enhance the color stability of naturally-colored bioplastic as we try to move away from hazardous chemicals such as synthetic colorants pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/ac…
Latest research from the @BioICEP_H2020 Thanks to my co-workers and friends Muhammad Azeem, B.Eng, M.Eng, Ph.D Marija Mojicevic Olivia Adly Margaret Fournet at the Centre for Polymer Sustainability Technological University of the Shannon @TUSMidlands_Research TUS Library: Midlands
Here is a summary of tasks within our EcoPlastiC project that are coordinated by Margaret Brennan Fournet and performed by our colleagues from the Technological University of the Shannon: Midlands Midwest (@TUSMidlands_Research). Sounds amazing, right? 🤗
Great to be part of #MC16 🌍 Wondering how we improved the colour stability of a natural pigment in bioplastic?♻️ Our study showed a 5-fold increase in colour stability under long exposure, accelerated weathering conditions☀️ Full paper ACS Sustainable Journals pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/ac…
