congestion pricing has accomplished what highway widenings never could: it has almost completely fixed New Jersey traffic approaching NYC. and it actually *raises* billions in revenue instead of costing billions

Big shout out to Wheat Ridge City Council for getting rid of parking minimums for all multifamily development across the city. Parking is market driven and we don't need arbitrary mandates driving up the cost of housing and limiting new supply. Motion passed last night 7-0!

Remember those CO state land use laws that we were all talking about? June 30 was the first major deadline for ADUs and parking reform. SWEEP has been tracking local government work on this — check it out 📜

.Governor Kelly Ayotte has signed a significant expansion of New Hampshire’s ADU law! Now homeowners will be able to build one ADU, attached or detached, by right with no special permits required, and local governments can’t require more than one parking space.

Excellent op-ed from CO State Rep. Rebekah Stewart on the benefits of Lakewood's zoning code proposal to expand housing choices by re-legalizing "missing middle housing". 🏡🏡🏡 These housing types cost $230,000 less than single detached homes in Lakewood. They also use less

Of solid blue states, Colorado was #2 in homebuilding per capita in 2024 behind only Delaware 👏 All that new supply is working to stabilize and even decrease housing costs, particularly in Denver where housing costs are down 2-5% YOY after rising nearly 50% from 2017 to 2023.

🌳 Paris just transformed one of its most iconic squares: Place de l’Hôtel de Ville. Once a vast stone esplanade, it’s now an urban forest. Inaugurated on June 21, 2025, this project is reshaping how the city tackles climate, space, and livability. 🌍
