There’s something a bit satisfying about knowing these people will never be satisfied no matter how progressive politicians are, they’re just doomed to stay miserable

I remember when this decision was announced, I posted a "congratulations" on Insta to my LGBTQ+ friends on such a huge victory all while I secretly cried because little closeted Max could eventually marry a man he loved. I came out 4 months later and haven't looked back since 🏳️‍🌈

Was supportive of Markey's 2020 bid as I truly didn't think Kennedy had anything unique to offer and Markey seemed able to meet the moment but his apparent 2026 run disappoints me. He has a great successor in Ayanna Pressley and a retirement + endorsement from him would be huge.

I’m proud of how I grew up and talk about it all the time! My mom cleaned houses and I helped. We cleaned tutors’ homes in exchange for SAT prep. Growing up between the Bronx and Yorktown deeply shaped my views of inequality & it’s a big reason I believe the things I do today!

One time when I was a kid gabby yelled at me for listening to “Blurred Lines” because the song is misogynistic and I had to tell her I was actually listening to a Weird Al parody about grammar rules
