Who likes field trials? This one near York is going to be a beast! Can't wait to take a heap of people across and get into some herbicide nitty gritty!

Trials are up and away at the Bayer AU 🇦🇺 | Crop Science trial hub near York WA. Plenty of learnings about herbicide impact on early crop vigor already. Hugh Trenorden getting eager with the camera for some happy snaps. Contact me if you'd like a look for yourself! #bayertrial

Very interesting side by side comparison of a new competitor product (L) with Sakura (R) at the York #Bayertrial hub. It went in a little shallow (seed @ 2.5 cm) due to soil type, and the handbrake has been applied on the left whilst the Sakura plot is happy days. Bayer AU 🇦🇺 | Crop Science

Who likes smut? Certainly not barley growers. The #bayertrial at the Liebe Group SFD site up in Latham is looking at seed dressings and slurry volumes on loose smut control. Way too early for results, but old chemistry is certainly handbraking the crop! Bayer AU 🇦🇺 | Crop Science

Representative root samples collected from 4 different treatments in a pre-emergent herbicide trial, if you’re seeing above biomass differences above ground the issue usually lies below.

Great to see our Market Development Agronomist Matt Willis out in the Northern WA Wheatbelt conducting a trial to compare pre-emergent herbicides for controlling annual ryegrass.

Sometimes I forgot that Twitter exists… Took this a couple of weeks ago up at Mingenew and never got around to uploading! EPE Mateno Complete vs IBS Sakura in wheat for ARG control. The new industry benchmark. #BayerTrial Bayer AU 🇦🇺 | Crop Science Mingenew Irwin Group

At Wongan Hills in WA, Matt Willis lifts the lid on our #MatenoComplete trial which demonstrates its performance in the early post emergent use pattern. This will provide growers with greater flexibility in tackling a wide spectrum of grass and #BroadleafWeeds.

On a pretty rainy day in Perth, Saturday arvo pots inspection. From left to right: Untreated (left), Sakura 100g ai + Brodal 66g ai (middle), Mateno Complete 1L (right). Applied post-emergence to 1 tiller ARG 4 weeks ago.

The spectacular journey of Mateno Complete applied post-emergence at 1L/ha to 400 ryegrass samples on 17th May at UWA AHRI . Ryegrass density was very large (ranging to an equivalent of 5,000 - 12,000 seedlings per sqm).
