After turning down multiple offers to turn pro as an undrafted free agent, Mac Moise is back as FGCU Baseball ⚾️'s starting catcher. The fifth-year backstop hit .302/.486/.604 with 16 doubles, one triple and 10 homers in 53 games (51 starts) last season.

A third-team All-Atlantic Sun Conference selection last season, Robert Moya led FGCU Baseball ⚾️ in homers (16) while slashing .284/.414/.562. The first baseman also earned D1Baseball National Player of the Week honors after posting a .979 wOBA and five homers during the week of May 13-19.

Justin Henschel returns to the FGCU Baseball ⚾️ rotation after recording a 4.91 ERA in 66 innings over 18 games (eight starts). The righty was 94-96 on scout day, and head coach Dave Tollett believes there’s “more in the tank."

A graduate transfer from Division II Columbus State, Leo Giannoni joins FGCU Baseball ⚾️ after logging a 2.45 ERA and 59 strikeouts in 51.1 innings last season. “He is a side-arm guy who goes so far down with his arm slot that his knuckles bleed from hitting the turf.”
