Fantastic day visiting classrooms throughout the school. It is so important to take the time to see all of the awesome teaching and learning that goes on around us. NCHS

Coloring a sector with a central angle of one radian in Honors Algebra 2. Nice way to summarize our radian investigation right before break. NCHS

Love a colorful Unit Circle! Building the understanding is more important than any amount of memorization. NCHS

Today students in H Algebra 2 used Desmos and sinusoidal regressions to write equations of real world sine and cosine curves. I asked them to start with a google image search of something that had "sine curve vibes" NCHS #MTBoS #iteachmath

Look at these chess pieces that Calc Ss designed! They calculated the volume of them and after APs Emily Hernberg will be helping us 3D print them! Thank you to Twitter PL that inspired the project (my apologies - I can't remember who at the moment) NCHS #iteachmath #MTBoS

Here is the last picture with all the chess pieces since they are finished printing. These were designed in Desmos part of a summative project on integrals, calculated the volume of them, imported into Tinkercad revolved, tinkered with and then 3D printed. NCHS

Congratulations to the entire cast and crew of Percy Jackson. You completely rocked it. This little fan (and big fan too) adored the show and you brought her heroes to life. NCHS
