Year 1 took part in a beautiful class collective worship yesterday. Children were thoughtful and reflective when thinking about the Holy Spirit, what it means to us, and how the Holy Spirit is a teacher and a guide. We ended with a quiet prayer.

This week EYFS have been making collages. We looked at an artist called Megan Coyle who makes amazing pictures using photos from magazines. They used their favourite pictures of skies and grass to make a background and then chose a house to place on top. Fantastic artwork!

1 / 10 EYFS have made a wonderful piece of art today as a group! We learned all about the famous artist Jackson Pollock and how he makes amazing paintings. We were inspired by Autumn and all of the colours we see in the season like orange, yellow, red, brown and green. 🎨🖌️

This week, EYFS have been given 10 eggs which have been placed in a special incubator. In the next few days we will be watching them hatch into tiny baby chicks! 🐣🥚🐥 The children will learn all about the life-cycle of chicks and learning all about how to look after them!

Great transition visit to St Marys Catholic Primary School this morning. I love seeing our new cohort in their Primary schools and never fail to take something away with me. Great learning conversation with a really dedicated Y6 teacher and some brilliant immersive learning spaces.
