Although we've engraved portraits of Herbert Ingram, founder of the Illustrated London News, we'd never seen a photo, until y'day, when we happened across a daguerreotype of Ingram, 30, by Jabez Hogg, 1841. Original gifted to ILN in 1949 - tho we've no idea what happened to it.😟
