My very first (paying) job in media was working with Bev Beyak in the Promo department at CFQC Radio in S’toon. Years later I had the pleasure of working with Dennis at The Score. Two wonderful people. Congrats to Dennis on an incredible career. And all the best in retirement.

A sad day. Like all hockey fans I grew up listening to Bob Cole. Then was lucky to work w him at HNIC. I was so green. He was so kind. A fave memory-my 1st yr we had a team photo & the photog had Bob & I sit in the same chair & we got the giggles. He was a nat’l treasure. 🐐🎙️🏒

Watching Dutchy on tv felt like watching sports w a buddy. It was such a proud feeling growing up and knowing he was from Sask. I was on the media bus from airport at Van Olympics w him. He was so complimentary and so so funny. We shared SK stories. Thinking of his loved ones. 🙏🏻

Talk about full circle! Back in 2000 @ #FuturesGame in Atlanta-younger (& intimidated) me interviewed Vernon Wells only to realize when we went to feed the tape…camera wasn’t rolling! Had to go back and ask him to do it again. Graciously he did. Never forgot that. 🙏🏻

In awe of my colleague Ryan Leslie & the thoughtful way he has handled an emotional night in Calgary. Interviews with Meredith, Guy and Jane Gaudreau, & in-game w players… just beautiful. Keeping in mind Ryan also lost a friend.
