people who care about you will refuse to leave you in confusion about how they feel, and will want to be as clear as possible by explaining their intentions/actions. even if they struggle to articulate things or speak up, if they care, they’ll make the effort to meet you halfway

I don’t like the way y’all frame forgiveness when it comes to abuse to be completely fucking honest.. I don’t HAVE to forgive my abuser. IF and when I choose to forgive is completely up to me. Also forgiveness of that person is NOT necessary for me to live a healthy life.
