Drop off in A&E attendances worrying. We are open to treat your heart attack, stroke or sepsis. Suspected Covid 19 cases are isolated from 'normal' A&E business and cohorted on our wards. We're still on duty to save your life.

I can't express highly enough how impressive the teamwork at RCHT has been to prepare for the worst whilst hoping for the best.

Brilliant piece of fly on the wall TV news by Rob Taylor. And so good to see Olga demonstrating the use of lung ultrasound, an investigation she is pioneering Cornwall.

Where we create capacity matters as we have a mainly hierarchical structure to emergency admissions, with conversion rates between. Make an ED space and offload 2 ambulances before it is the limiting factor. Make a social care bed and offload 200.
