Focus on finding a solution. Hopefully you will find a solution. However, even if you don't you activate the left prefrontal cortex in your brain. This will empower you, helping you to deal better with life. It's a whole lot more likely that you'll come up with solutions as well!

I really want you to answer this question in the comments. Try and focus on a positive rather than a negative. If you start your thought or your sentence with 'i wouldn't..." then you're on the wrong track. I'd love to see some uplifting and positive comments here!

To get a quick bit of relief from your stress do the following. 1. Take 10 very slow, gentle and deep breaths. 2. As you inhale focus on the cool air entering your nostrils. 3. As you exhale focus on the warm air flowing out.
