With the full moon washing out the night sky, Orion still never fails to shine bright. This is a target I like to revisit every year. It's even visible to the naked eye in Orion's sword. I used my Celestron RASA telescope, ZWO ASI533MC color camera, and an Antlia L-Filter.

This is IC 1795, the "Fish Head Nebula" in Cassiopeia (see it?). It is a part of the Heart Nebula, a star forming region 6500 LY away. Colors are a little washed out due to shooting during the full Moon. SvBony SV503 80ED Telescope and ZWO 533mc Pro Camera. 5 hrs of data.

This is the Vela SuperNova remnant, spanning 15x11 degrees of the sky. Taken while at Bushman's Kloof in the Cederberg mountains, Wsetyern Cape of South Africa. Stunningly beautiful place, plus Bortle 1. What's not to like. Starless image, link to details/astrobin below

M29 (NGC 6913) is a small, faint, beautiful open cluster located about 4,000 light years from Earth in Cygnus the Swan. Residing in a rich, crowded region of our Galaxy, the cluster contains about 50 stars and has a diameter of around 11 light years. 📷 Adam Block #M29 #NGC6913
