I think if i was to get an Osmo 4, it would be because the Osmo 3 was such a GREAT product, that i'd happily get a new model if it is (also) great and has a good vibe. But I think a brand new Osmo pocket 3 owner will have no issues for a very long time.

After using it for all the aforementioned things, I've never even really used the extra battery attachment, even after using it all day. It packs quite a punch. So i'm curious to see how DJI will spin a "must have" feature.

If they make the new one slightly water resistant, that will cannibalize their Osmo Action market, so I don't think they'll do that. My thoughts are that the people on the fence who didn't get the 3 and love what they see made on it will stampede to get the 4.

I couldn't have dreamed of owning a camera like this, with this level of quality in 2009. The form factor is more natural than using a phone and people often don't even know what it is at first glance. So yeah those are my thoughts.

Gonna post a few more vids and try to upload my vlogs before the 4 launches, but DJI did such an excellent job. Give the people what they want and that's what they did with the Osmo Pocket 3. I would LOVE to be the first person to test a Osmo Pocket 4 in Jamaica.

When DJI launches, they often seem to miss the fact that the Caribbean is one of the perfect places to test and hype up a new camera. over fifty million people across many countries. Jamaica, with the beaches, music scene and vibrant atmosphere is amazing.

It was such a breath of fresh air to believe, to dream. I walk with it everywhere, even if I don't use it. It functions as my "dream totem" because I feel so good having it, knowing "i can". People underestimate the value of that with good products. That feeling of "ability"

I felt that was about my Kindle 3g when I bought it many years ago. A device I could slip into my pocket and read thousands of books? Take my money!

A little note about the Emirates Business class video review I just posted: Would you believe I FORGOT that making a video like this was one of my LIFE GOALS? It wasn't until I was doing the final edits and came to this section of the video [con't]

where I saw the perfect image for the thumbnail the light bulb clicked. That I've always fantasized about doing an "in flight review" or "full flight experience of a long haul flight with "the seat that can turn into a bed" 😎 I didn't know how it would happen. I didn't know when

Even AFTER it happened, I didn't even realize it. You know why? Because it took me over two weeks to recover from my trip after returning due to certain challenges I have. Then daily life. Stresses, worries. Thinking about the future, all while slowly editing this video.

I say this bcuz a dream might creep up on you and you don't even realize it. I'm grateful to the Sharjah Book Authority for providing the flights, when I attended the 2025 Sharjah International Book Fair as a guest author, promoting my new Jamaican werewolf novel, 'Rasta Wolf'.

And for context, I've been making videos for 16 years and been to 18 countries and have never had an experience like that. Very grateful to have bene able to do it and looking forward to more! Maybe #Etihad next? :D
