In the last 6 weeks, we've gone from a zero e-bike household to a two e-bike household & are completely loving our fully equipped, upright RadCity bikes (Model 3 & 5) from Rad Power Bikes. Every day is also like a mini-research study as I look at infrastructure, mixing, behavior.
Things I did yesterday because of new e-bike: added an ‘errand’ to get spousal appreciation gift, took the long way home because pavement was smoother that way, & rode to evening ultimate frisbee up and over Eugene’s biggest urban hill (hill? what hill?). Rad Power Bikes
Thank you EUG Water & Electric for offering an e-bike rebate and for being so efficient! E-bikes may be one of the best & quickest ways to meet emission reduction targets, and because e-bikes are so much cheaper & space efficient than cars, we get more bang for the subsidy buck!
See the thread. And I am strongly supporting Tina Kotek for Oregon Governor! The stakes couldn't be higher and your vote matters. Tina Kotek for Oregon
An e-bike victory: keeping up with my spouse on her e-bike for a very lovely 20 mile loop from home to along the Willamette River in Eugene & Springfield, OR on a beautiful fall weekend. Rad Power Bikes
We’re so proud of this project with Planned Parenthood Texas Votes - voting has never been more important. Stand up for your rights. 💛
Can't wait to help alter the entire life trajectory of another 19 students!!!!! What an honor and what fun as well. University of Oregon
