I think people don’t realise how dire the situation is; rice is cultivated in flooded fields, and then after it is harvested, the land is readied for wheat. but if the lands becomes oversaturated, wheat cannot be cultivated… Pakistan is looking at a potential food crisis 😐

imagine the fields and water levels during rice season. now think about the amount of rain and floods received. how will our agriculture cycle be sustained, this is so spoooookyyyy. the amount of crops and fields that will be wasted/go bad/be left uncultivated is jarring
