I just learned that my clients who fled Afghanistan immediately before thr Taliban took over received asylum in the United States. A progressive professor/ journalist and his amazing business-owner wife and their kids will be permanently safe. Sometimes America gets it right! 🇺🇸

We got the full Thames tour on arrival to Heathrow today. My firm’s London office is in the Shard and a view of Westminster and Buckingham Palace is always nice. Wish I could stay longer than three hours as London is always a lovely time!

I’m going to be exhausted when we get home tonight and all I’ll have done is eat and drink in airports and on planes for like 20 hours it’s absurd.

The Germans should run all airports.
