Tomorrow, the College of European Commission will hold its 2500th meeting, where members will discuss the 2024 State of the Energy Union Report.

I have taken note and accepted the resignation of Thierry Breton and thank him for his work during his tenure as commissioner. Executive Vice-President Margrethe Vestager will take over the Internal Market portfolio and all the relevant responsibilities until the end of the mandate.
