Are you a maker? Do you make things with your hands or are you a small-batch producer? You might be a ceramicist, metalworker or carpenter, a filmmaker, kulfi-maker or a brewer. You might design jewellery, produce fabrics, make clothes or work with leather...

We are looking for Leyton makers to include in a new directory and a mural at Leyton Midland Road Station. We want to reveal the range of craft skills and making practices that exist locally and celebrate the makers, producers and businesses that make Leyton unique.

How do I enter myself or nominate someone? Please email us at: [email protected] with the name of the maker and what they do. Entries should be submitted by Friday 10th July.

The Makers of Leyton is a project by local art practitioners Studio Phillips Walmsley. It is part of Waltham Forest Council’s Making Places initiative to deliver creative projects across the borough that will have a lasting impact on communities and neighbourhoods.
