On Saturday we participated in the annual Nova Scotia Provincial Monument Ceremony. It was a bittersweet ceremony as we paid tribute to all 131 names on the monument. Our hearts are with all the families who have lost a loved one to impaired driving in this province.

Members of the RCMP Halifax Regional Detachment joined MADD Canada Atlantic Region in a vigil to remember those who have lost their lives as a result of an impaired driver. This is a sombre reminder to all of the consequence of impaired driving. Suspect impaired driving: Call 911
