I was able to meet John Prine’s incredibly talented son Tommy Prine this weekend and give him a copy of The Big Door Prize, my novel dedicated to his dad, as well as a letter I wrote to Mr. Prine in March 2020 that was never able to be delivered. Grateful for this moment.
