Yesterday, we celebrated the Hindu festival of Raksha Bandhan. Sister's tie a sacred thread called Rakhi to the wrist of their brothers and pray for their good health & long life. It signifies ‘a bond of protection’. A lovely episode on iplayer about it: bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episod…
