It is huge relief to hear that humanitarian assistance has began arriving in Tigray. Let's hope and pray that the parties to the conflict adhere to the peace agreement and implement it swiftly as to ensure unfitted access is expended and sustained.

We continue to hear the sickening death and destruction in Oromia. At least 350 people killed and over 400,000 displaced just in the last 48 hours in Kiramu ( East Walaga), Kombolcha & Gabate ( Horo Guduru) , and Kuyu & Wara Jarso ( Salale/ North Shawa).

The government communication office officially announced that the entire residents of Kiramu have been forced to flee to the neighboring district.

This horrible war need to end now. The government need to quit pretending as if nothing is happening. It is time end the suffering of ouur people and fast collapse of the region through negotiated political settlement. Again aid agencies should step up to help the IDPs.

While the main fighting is carried out by organized armed groups i.e Oromo Liberation Army, Oromia Special Forces, Fano Militia and Amhara Special Forces, the conflict is fast becoming communal war involving civilians. and increasingly complicated.
