Our Grade 5/6 class hosted an "Adjective Fashion Show" this morning. Some words used to describe their costumes were, "strange", "obnoxious", "itchy" and "crunchy". Kudos to our fashion models who looked like they were born to walk the runway!

The winners are in for the Lucky Lake School Film Festival. Congratulations to Helen for winning Best Documentary, and to Sami and Kasey for winning Best Action Picture. Mariah is the winner for the draw of the SCC and Wheatland Library Book Walk. Congratulations!

Grade 10 student, Olivia Netzel, hosted a Young Heroes Car Show on Sunday. Local donations and participants helped Olivia raise $3500.00 for the Jim Pattison Children's Hospital. Congratulations on a successful day Olivia! We are all very proud of you and your accomplishment!

Our Titanic has sunk! 1.5 hrs after striking an iceberg, she was on her way to the bottom. 500 lbs of water added to her existing 130 lbs, it was a struggle to get her back to shore. The Titanic has been dried out, and is currently still in great shape. A very memorable project!

Olivia Netzel was nominated by Jim Pattison Children's Hospital to the Association of Fundraising Professionals-Saskatoon for the NATIONAL PHILANTHROPY AWARD! This all started with the car show she put on back in May for her Leadership 20 DLC course. CONGRATULATIONS OLIVIA!!

Congratulations to Kasey Jessiman for winning 1st Place in the Intermediate Girls 3000m at Cross Country Sectionals in Outlook last night. As always, she represented our school with pride! Well done Kasey. 👏👏👏

On Orange Shirt Day, the staff and students at Lucky Lake, wore orange to recognize the 150,000 Indigenous children who endured the residential schooling system, and its trauma that continues to be felt to this day. #everychildmatters

Today was a great day for the Terry Fox Run! Thank you to all parents and students who sent in donations, as well as the ones who showed up to walk with us! Thank you to G-Macs for donating all the lunches for students and staff. We appreciate it!

Congratulations to Kasey, Rylan, and Boston for all placing in the Cross Country Districts In Outlook yesterday. Kasey got 2nd, Rylan got 3rd, and Boston got 5th. Kasey will move on to Provincials! Good job to all three students!

Congrats to Kasey Jessiman on finishing 17th at Cross Country Provincials held in Humboldt on Saturday. There were a total of 90 girls in her Intermediate group running the 3km, so she represented Lucky Lake School very well! She ran her personal best of 13.21! Congrats Kasey!

The grade 7/8's learned about the Ontario Farmerette Program during WWI and WWII, which encouraged young women to help out on farms by feeding those still at home and those overseas. We virtually met some ladies who participated in the program and were able to ask them questions.

PUPPIES!!! Thank you Kendra Siemens for bringing Rudy, Sadie and Orla in for a visit with the staff and students. As you can see, there was no lack of love and cuddles for them all! ❤️

Yesterday our Grade 5/6 class held a Math Snowball Fight. Each snowball is a correct math problem done as homework. A GREAT way to mix learning with some active fun!👏👏👏

Wow! We are so incredibly proud and excited for our Senior Boys volleyball team. The SaskMilk Sportsmanship award was presented to the team today for their friendly demeanor towards everyone that won the hearts of other coaches, staff, refs and teammates.

It was an exciting couple of days in our school! Mark Dodds came down and put on a two day volleyball camp for our local kids and surrounding areas. Thanks Mark for your time, advice, and skill set. It was great to have you back where everything started for you.
