The Hackney Peace Carnival Mural is an amazing link to Hackney’s art and musical history. Devised by Ray Walker, who prepared illustrations based on photos taken at Hackney Marsh Fun festival in Gerry Tissier. The project was completed in 1985 after Walker’s premature death.
