It takes courage to reach out for help when you have lost a child. Courage is one of the spiritual Gifts of grief.

I leaned heavily on my Catholic faith when our daughter, Cyndi, died in 2005. It was not only my comfort but it helped me to increase my faith in God immensely.

There are 3 wonderful organizations that can help anyone who has lost a child: Compassionate Friends (CompassionateFriends), Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) & Helping Parents Heal (buff.ly/41VVEgO). I highly recommend each of these as a source of comfort & help.
