Last week TolTEC was present in the conference "New Quests in Stellar Astrophysics IV: Astrochemistry, Astrobiology and the Origin of Life". TolTEC can provide complementary information on the subjects discussed in this conference.

Congratulations to Shep Doeleman and the whole Event Horizon 'Scope team for the first image of a #BlackHole shadow. Many of the TolTEC team members were following with excitement the press conference. We are very proud that our home telescope GTM / LMT played a crucial role.

Varios miembros del equipo de TolTEC en INAOE México participan en el 4to Taller de Radioastrofísica Verano TNT 2019. La importancia de nuestro instrumento será explicada durante las charlas del taller.

La semana pasada tuvimos la visita de Jessica Luna (en medio), estudiante de maestría del Instituto de Astronomía UNAM. Jessica realiza su tesis sobre blazares, bajo la supervisión de Erika Benitez. Durante su visita en INAOE México trabajó con datos AzTEC, explorando la posibilidad del uso de TolTEC.

En octubre pasado integrantes del equipo de TolTEC participaron en el evento "Ciencia sin márgenes: divulgando la ciencia alrededor de GTM y HAWC" organizado por INAOE México con apoyo de Conahcyt Consejo. ¡Estrenamos un juego de cartas inspirado en los censos de legado de TolTEC!

Varios miembros del equipo de TolTEC estaremos en la sede San Andrés Cholula de Noche de Estrellas NocheEstrellasPuebla el día de mañana. Tendremos juego de cartas sobre los censos de legado de TolTEC (Zona B, GTM-INAOE) y conferencia por Itziar Aretxaga a las 21h.
