Very sad to hear of the death of the legendary Spanish soprano Montserrat Caballé. Her first appearance in Britain was as the Marschallin in Der Rosenkavalier at the 1965 Glyndebourne Festival. A recording of her notable performance was released on the Glyndebourne Label in 2011.
