Leyburn, Reeth and Colburn crews had a play on Harrogate's new Bronco Skylift at drill tonight.

The rain we had last night in the Dales has now frozen. Be careful driving out there this morning as some roads are very icy. ❄️

Slightly different end to drill night tonight, lift the egg without breaking it using the hydraulic cutting gear.

Last night we had an extra drill in Leyburn - RTC exercise with Hawes Fire crew and Yorkshire Ambulance Service. 🚒🚑. Excellent drill with live casualties. Really good joint working with our Ambulance Service colleagues. Five casualties released in under an hour. Good work!! 🧑‍🚒

Fantastic day at Wensleydale Show today. Leyburn Fire Station was joined by the #NYFRS Fire Bike and the Water Safety demonstration unit to show the visitors how we react to incidents and how we educate to prevent those incidents happening in the first place. 🚒👨‍🚒👩‍🚒
