Reminding myself x

My ambition as a child, was to get a book published at a younger age than Jayne Fisher of Garden Gang fame. She was 9 and my hero at the time. Alas, I failed, but I never stopped writing. I'm still blown away by how talented Jayne was.

22nd March last year was tough. Mother’s Day, my mum’s birthday day and the day before lockdown. By chance, I arrived at my Mum’s graveside at the same time as my sister and just wanted to give her a hug. But couldn’t. Hopefully not long now though, so here’s to hugs! 💝

I used to volunteer for an eating disorders charity, and I try to educate my daughters (a tween and a teen) about positive body image, particularly in this age of social media and filters. What positive wellbeing messages do you try to share with your tweens/teens? #parenting
