If you follow AI scientists there seems to be a pretty strong consensus that the tech that powers chatGPT (AR-LLM) is doomed to fail and not the right avenue to higher level AI. As the bubble deflates and the dust settles, the cards of who'll win are still shuffling.

Getting a little emotional seeing childhood pics of my mom, full of cute little mischief. She’s turning 70 this year, and life has sucked a lot of that out of her. Having a son puts it all in a new perspective- what it meant to be here, and what it’ll mean to be him, one day.

Sales are so frequent in the fashion industry that as far as I’m concerned they’re just the price a brand is worth and I refuse to ever buy “full price”. And I feel like the age of e-commerce / CRM has greatly accelerated this, with a lot more choice.

Some movies have very strong before and after having kids experiences. Inside Out is definitely one of those. Before kids you experience it as the girl. After kids, you experience it as the parent.

As a kid who was socially awkward and struggled to connect with other kids (some things don’t change…) it’s hard to express how happy it makes me to see my son having a total blast with his friends at daycare. He walks in the morning shouting a “yeaaah!” echoed by the room. 🥲
